ProjX have successfully completed the testing & pre-commissioning phase of the manganese processing plant at emerging manganese miner Element 25’s Butcherbird Minesite, and E25 are now fully engaged in ore commissioning. On-grade product was produced very early on in the ore commissioning phase, and the company is now focussed on ramping up to design rates.
ProjX Director David Teasdale:
“ProjX’s handover of the pre-commissioned plant to E25 marks a historic milestone in E25’s development, with ore being fed into the plant within 11 months of their Pre-Feasibility Study being published. For the ProjX team to have completed the construction & pre-commissioning of an entire minerals processing plant after only 12 weeks of site works is something that all members of the project delivery team should be extremely proud of.
Importantly, with over 15,000 hours of site works, there have been zero medical, first aid or lost time injuries. This illustrates that with the right team and well developed safety management systems, a low-capital project with a fast-tracked schedule in very harsh environmental conditions can be executed safely and efficiently.”
